We will be having a Fish and Chip run (please ask for either Dave Stephens or Martin Higgs on arrival)
The Clout will be three arrows per end at butts face up and lit pumpkins.
A prize will be given to the best junior carved pumpkin.
Price: £3:00 adults £2:00 juniors
Fancy dress optional.
Shooting will finish around 21:00 when the food arrives.

This years 2011 event proved extremely popular so you’re advised to get your entries in early to ensure the session that you want.

Long Buckby Archery Club have changed the date of their coming annual indoor tournament from 16th October to the 11th December 2011.
The venue is still Guilsborough School.

This years NCAS County & Open Outdoor Championships was held on 11th September and hosted by Wellingborough Open Archery Club.
Despite the tricky conditions there was a great turn out this year with nearly all catagories being full. Strong variable winds throughout the day nearly resulted in the shoot being abandoned in the afternoon, but everyone agreed to see it through to the end.

Lincolnshire were the winners of the coverted Thoresby Trophy at this years EMAS Senior Inter-counties Team Tournament held on 4th September at Washingborough near Lincoln. The host county won the event for the first time in the 53 year history of the shoot.
Northamptonshire were once again short of a full team which might have seen us put in a good challenge. Dean Edwards and James Mason of WOAC finished 1st and 4th respectively in the gents recurve standings. Sharham Montasser of Kettering Archers also shot very well finishing in 6th place with a new PB of 1027.
Jude Hall of WOAC finished in 3rd place in the ladies compound with 1208. Helen Nuemann also of WOAC shot really well in here first county shoot with 1109. Frances Bull of Targetcraft finished in 7th place overall in the ladies recurve with 1028. Lizzie Cantopher of WOAC finished 13th with 963.
