Pictures of the N.A.C. Club Shoot taken 21st September 2013 at Sywell.

This is a message for NAC members; As Simon is unable to send out a link to this photo gallery I am just posting this simple post to let you know how you can view the pictures.

If you go into the website, click on MEMBERS and select the gallery as written on the title. A password box will appear where you put in our usual regular password.

This is to protect members that do not wish their image to be put on the (public)  website. If anyone would rather have their image deleted then just contact me on ianpateman@talktalk.net same applies if you need the password (or ask any committee member) or a copy of the original picture. Several pictures have captured the arrow in flight but some do take a little looking to find it.

As soon as Simon is able to send out an e-mail with a link I shall leave the gallery for 14 days or so before transffering the gallery into “Public” viewing under Galleries..

Regards

First Beginneer’s Course of 2013 Completed!

DSC_0005

On Saturday 27th of July NAC held their first beginners course of 2013, which continued for a period of three Saturdays. At last the weather was settled and on our side throughout as we welcomed 15 beginners to the Sywell shooting range to embark on their archery training.
On Saturday the 10th of August I had the pleasure in issuing each of our beginners with a certificate of completion of an Archery beginner’s course.

My gratitude goes out to Martin Ross, Jamie Mason and Paul Barrett for overseeing the training course, Pam for the organisation of the beginners and all the paper work involved and lastly Dave S, Jock, Dave Q, Ryan, Ian, Pete, Neil and Ronnie for taking time out from shooting to help instruct on the line.

To each of the beginners who participated in our training course, we at NAC all wish you every enjoyment in your new sport.

One last thing, someone had an 18th birthday during the course so we had to eat a bit of cake…………once the candles were blown out!!

From Barbados To Sywell!

001

On 3rd Aug 2013 we had a visit from Rebecca,(wearing sun glasses) Gabriel (7)(red shirt), and Charlotte(10)(Starry eyes shirt) who live in Barbados. They shoot with the Bowbreakers at home in Barbados.

Rebecca’s mother, and brother, live here in the UK, (England) and they all came along to the Sywell shooting range to watch them shoot as they have never had the opportunity before…… seeing them shoot for the first time made them feel so proud of them.

Gabriel and Charlotte had a great time and soon made friend and joined in with our own juniors. Mum Rebecca enjoyed mixing with members of the NAC and had a good time shooting too. It was nice to see them and the club gave them a warm welcome, they will all wear their NAC badge with pride on their quiver when they shoot again back home in Barbados..

We all wish Rebecca luck as she shoots her 1st competition in Oct. We hope to see them again next year and we wish them a safe journey home.
