Due to the envoling situation with Covid-19, all NAC venues are closed until further notice.

We hope that everyone stays safe.

Four archers from Northampton Archery Club competed at the County Championships on 8th March, hosted by Archers of Raunds.

Rebecca Stevens is County Champion for junior ladies recurve taking 1st place in her age category (U18).

Susan Corless is County Champion for senior ladies compound taking 1st place. 

Mick Lovell took 2nd place for senior gents barebow (just 2 points away from the 1st place archer) and 1st place for the double round.

Ioannis Chrisinas took 3rd place for senior gents recurve (just 1 ten away from 2nd place and 6 points away from 1st place).

On Sunday 8th March Northamptonshire County hosted an inter county match against Bedfordshire. Being an indoor event, the team selected for the event was small (14 archers), nevertheless three NAC archers were selected for this team.

Both Rebecca Stevens (Junior Ladies Recurve) and Ioannis Chrisinas (Senior Gents Recurve) were representing the County for the first time – congratulations, we hope this is the first of many matches. They were joined by Susan Corless (Senior Ladies Compound).

The overall result of the match was 5,756 points to Bedfordshire and 5,878 to Northamptonshire – making us the winners – congratulations to the whole team!

 

 

The results from our 7th indoor open competition are now available here. It was nice to see archers from local clubs, but also from further afield, we hope you all enjoyed the shoot.

The entry form for NAC’s Open Portsmouth is now available here. It is being held on Sunday 2nd February 2020 at our usual venue at John Ashby Sports Hall in Moulton.
