The NAC AGM has been resheduled for 31st July at 2.30pm, to be held at Sywell in person. The original date of 10th July could not go ahead due to a lack of numbers, we did not have the minimum required. We hope that our members will join us on 31st July. The AGM pack is as before – see earlier news post.

NAC 2021 AGM
Due to the current COVID guidelines this year’s Annual General Meeting will be held virtually via Webex (Online and Telephone access) on Sunday 11th July 2021 at 2.30pm.
The complete AGM pack will be sent 2 weeks ahead of the meeting.
Here are the blank proposal, officer and president nomination forms for you to complete, these must be with the club secretary – secretary@northamptonarchery.co.uk no later than 12pm on 27th June 2021.
It is vital that for the club to fully operate, that volunteers come forward for each role. If you would like to know more about any role, please ask the existing officer (see the contacts page) or get in touch with any of us, we’d be happy to explain. Also, if you think there is someone in the club who would do a good job in a specific role – please speak to them!
County Inter-County Match Goes Postal
The Northamptonshire County Team normally competes in a number of matches against other counties across the calendar year. During 2020, it has not been possible to host these because of Covid-19, however there was a natural williness to find a solution to this. Our County Captain Martin Ross discussed this with the Bedfordshire County Captain and from this was born the Northants vs. Beds Covid Postal Match.
Much as the title suggests this is not a normal match where a team of archers would be selected from Northamptonshire clubs to meet on a given date & time, at a pre arranged location and a round would be shot – at the end of that day, the winner would be the county with the highest score. Instead, Northamptonshire have opened this up to every archer from the county clubs, where they can shoot the selected round at their club and submit their scores.
The winning team is then selected from the top scores – a fantastic oppourtunity to get involved with the County Team. You have until 2nd November to shoot & submit your score.
