We have been incredibly lucky with the weather so far, so we were pleased to be running a corporate team building event recently in the warm for once! No waterproofs needed.
After the safety briefing, basics of shooting and of course, more about us as a club – our have-a-go archers were ready to get on the shooting line at Sywell Shooting Ground and put their new skills to the test.
It didn’t take long before a few archers were already ahead on pace, so we decided to up the challenge and set the target a little bit further back. We can’t have it too easy now can we? 🙂 After shooting a few rounds each, we added in the challenge of score keeping and competing against team mates until we were left with the top three archers of the day. Adding up the scores from a head to head round, the top three were rewarded with an exclusive NAC medal! After a short (but prestigious) ceremony, the final winner was chosen. No speech needed but a group photo was taken at least for the next newsletter! (see below)
We had great feedback from everyone and a few enjoyed it so much, they decided to join the waiting list for beginners sessions. Even better! We love sharing our passion for archery.
